External services
This plugin connects your site to Chaaty, a third-party service operated by Chaaty (https://chaaty.io). The connection is required because the chat assistant is hosted and processed by Chaaty.
What the plugin does:
- It loads the Chaaty widget script from
https://chaaty.io/widget/embed.json the front end of your site (only when you have entered a Chatbot ID and the assistant is enabled). - When a visitor interacts with the assistant, their messages and related session data are sent to Chaaty (
https://chaaty.io) to generate replies and, where enabled, capture leads or bookings. This happens in the visitor’s browser via the loaded widget. - The plugin sends your Chatbot ID (which you provide) to identify which assistant to load.
The plugin itself does not send your visitors’ data to any other service. Data handling by Chaaty is governed by its policies:

If you remove the plugin or disable the assistant, the widget script is no longer loaded on your site.

How do I remove it from my site?

Turn off “Show on site” in the Webaaty settings, or deactivate the plugin. Either stops the widget from loading instantly.
