 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/um-navigation-menu` directory,
    or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress

links will display in the admin bar.

Yes, it was built to work with Ultimate Member version 2+

  Where can I place the translation file?

The files can be placed in **wp-content/languages/plugins/** with the file name **
um-navigation-menu-en_US.mo**.
